China Europe (Zhuzhou) International Freight Train Starts

On the morning of July 4th, the first China-Europe (Zhuzhou) International Freight Train departed from the Zhuzhou CRRC Logistics Base and headed to Minsk, capital of Belarus along the silk road economic belt. This means Zhuzhou became the third city in Hunan that has international railway freight train to Europe after Changsha and Huaihua. At the ceremony, Hunan Xiang’ou Express Logistics Co., ltd. and Zhuzhou CRRC Logistics Co., ltd. signed a cooperation agreement.

 Hunan Xiang’ou Express Logistics Co., ltd. was established in the background of Belt and Road initiative. It was committed to improve economic and trade relations between Hunan and European Union, Russia, central Asia, the Middle Easts, and the international logistics environment. It engaged in the development and operation of China Europe freight trains, which has opened freight train lines from Changsha to Warsaw, Hamburg, Duisburg, Minsk, Budapest, Moscow, Tilburg and central Asia. Its international business scope has extended to European Union, the commonwealth of independent states and central Asia. From October 2014 to the end of June, 2019, "China-Europe International Freight Train" has shipped a total of 529 trains, and delivered 43,656 TEUs of import and export goods, with a tonnage of 736,700 tons and a total value of 2.138 billion US dollars.
