On April 10th - 12th, the Eurasia Rail 2019 was held in Izmir, the third largest city on Turkey’s Aegean coast.
This exhibition attracted more than 300 exhibitors from 25 countries and 15,793 professional visitors. CRRC showcased double-deck EMU, multi-voltage electric locomotive, traction control unit, traction motor, rail detection car and other portfolio of CRRC products, which attracted the attention of domestic and foreign clients and media.
During the exhibition, Turkish Transport Minister Turhan led a delegation coming to the CRRC exhibition stand and spoke highly of the vehicles produced by CRRC ZELC, running well in the land of Turkey. Many suppliers from Western Europe and Turkey also came to the CRRC stand for negotiation, hoping to have the opportunity to establish cooperative partnership with CRRC ZELC. Besides, the organizer awarded CRRC the Certificate of Best Partner.
Since 2009, CRRC ZELC has successively won the contract projects from three major cities of Izmir, Ankara and Istanbul. In order to facilitate the interconnectivity and cooperation between China and Turkey, CRRC ZELC invested in setting up a local subsidiary in 2013, with local employees accounting for 87% of the total, creating more than 500 jobs directly or indirectly.
