CRRC ZELC Firstly Attend the 39th ASEAN Railway Industry CEO Summit

On November 14, the 39th ASEAN Railway Industry CEO Summit was opened in Malaysia. The theme is "Railway Linked ASEAN, Promoting Mutual Benefits and Promoting Common Development". The representatives of 7 countries of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), including Thailand, Indonesia and Vietnam, made a in-depth exchange and discussion on the Status quo and other focus issues of ASEAN railway. CRRC ZELC was invited for first time CEO Fu Chengjun attended the opening ceremony and delivered a speech.

In his speech, Fu Chengjun introduced CRRC ZELC's industry status and business layout in Malaysia. He said that since 2010, with the support of the Malaysian government and KTMB, CRRC ZELC had chance to participate in the Malaysia rail transit construction and provide variable products such as EMUs, light rail vehicle, electric locomotives, and a full range of maintenance services. In the recent eight years, CRRC ZELC has set up three subsidiaries in Malaysiam and realized localized manufacturing, localized procurement, localized employment, localized maintenance and localized marketingCRRC ZELC has the capacity to provide superior rail transport products and considerable services for ASEAN countries .

Fu Chengjun also pointed out: With the trend of economic globalization, ASEAN and China are at a "diamond decade" with a better begining and deeper cooperation. CRRC ZELC is ready to work together with our customers to create a better future.

On November 16, representatives from ASEAN countries and KTMB President Rani went to visit CRRC Kuala Lumpur Maintenance Company Seremban maintenance base. In 1978, the ASEAN Railway Industry CEO Summit was established. It is the first important platform for deepening the cooperation in the rail transport industry in the ASEAN region. It is held once a year in turns and held in various ASEAN countries.
