On 19th July, the first metro used for Line 21 in Wuhan was rolling out in CRRC ZELC Wuhan Corporation (briefing as Wuhan Corporation). The beautiful metro adopts driverless technology with speed of 100km/h. Blue sky and white cloud can be seen in the metro.
The vice-mayor of Wuhan city Wang Xiangwang, secretary of Jiangxia CPC, president of Wuhan Metro Co.,Ltd Zhou Shaodong and President of CRRC ZELC Zhou Qinghe were attending in the ceremony.
The metro is A type vehicle which adopted 4-car formation. It can be extended to 6-car formation with maximum passenger capacity of 2340 people. The highest speed is 100km/h thus the Wuhan Metro Line 21 is the first metro line which has speed over 100km/h.
The metro also adopts driverless technology which allowed the metro being monitored from departure to destination without any manual operation. The successful rolling out and operation of this metro provides technology support and technology certification for driverless type in Wuhan.
The outlook of metro is designed based on the figure of cowfish and the head uses the shape of Chinese river dolphin face to indicate the harmony between human being and nature. The inner decoration takes the curve of Changjiang River to show the vitality and development.
The metro lighting system adopts the design of blue sky and white clouds which make passengers feel comfortable in metro. LED lighting system is eco-friendly and consumes 30% less energy compared to fluorescent lamp. It evaluated that a metro can save 400,000 RMB for the operation of 30 years.
The length of Line 21 is 35 kilometers with 16 stations. Business opportunities will be produced when the metro is put in operation. Xinzhou, Huangpi, Jiangan will all be connected together to make Wuhan more prosperous.
Since the foundation of 2012, Wuhan Corporation has been successfully finished the manufacturing of Turkey Ankara Metro, Changsha Metro, Wuhan Line 6 metro and Hanyang tram vehicle. The roll out of metro signifies that the management system, technology and manufacturing system are mature.
According to the General Manager of Wuhan Coporation Hu Jingsong, the metros for Line 21 will be produced in Jiangxia. Otherwise, the core parts-traction system will also be produced in local that will prompt the rail transportation industry in Wuhan.
The vice-president and CEO of Wuhan Corporation Chen Cheng said we are devoted to provide comprehensive solutions for the manufacturing of rail transportation equipment, operation, maintenance and localization service. Wuhan Corporation will offer energy-saving and more reliable rail transportation products such as tram, mid-low speed maglev train, sky train, tour bus and buses with new energy etc.
Cooperation accelerates the development, craftsmanship creates the future. In the roll-out ceremony, cooperation proposals are signed respectively by Jiangxia district government and ZHUZHOU CRRC Times Electric Co.,Ltd, Jiangxia district government and Wuhan Metro, Wuhan Metro and CRRC ZELC.
Deputy secretary of Wuhan municipal government Peng Tao, deputy director of the Commission of Economy and Information Technology Li Baoguo and other leaders in Wuhan, General Manager of Wuhan Metro Yao Chunqiao, the Chairman of CRRC YANGTZE CO.,LTD, the General Manager of Zhuzhou CRRC Times Electric Co..Ltd Liu Ke’an were attended the roll-out ceremony.
