On 31st August, the Premier Minister of Turkey Binali Yidirim and the mayor of Ankara Melih Gokcek visited the new-building metro line in Ankara. The Premier Minister drove the metro made by CRRC ZELC that attracted many local Medias’ eyes.
In 2009, CRRC ZELC entered in European market relied on the Izmir LRVs project. It’s the first time for China’s high-end rail transportation equipments export to Europe. Afterwards, CRRC ZELC won the bidding of Ankara metro project which indicates the beginning of localization. Then at the beginning of 2013, CRRC MNG Rail System Vehicle Industry and Trade Co.,Ltd was established. In the field of rail transportation, China has realized the upgrade from product output to technology output. Thus CRRC ZELC is the first Chinese enterprise who exports metros to Europe.
CRRC MNG Rail System Vehicle Industry and Trade Co.,Ltd is mainly in manufacturing of mass transit vehicles, electric locomotives, EMUs and high-speed trains and also providing after-sale service, maintenance and overhaul service. The metros made by CRRC MNG have been delivered successfully to employers.
