The general manager of Nanning CRRC rail transportation equipment Co.,Ltd Mr. Liu Jianren told journalist, “B type metro vehicles are used in Nanning metro Line 1 project, the metro adopts 6 sets configuration with speed of 80km/h. The maximum passenger capacity is 2088 people.”Entering into the clear workshop, the journalists were attracted by the mass transit vehicles on the station immediately.
On 28th June, Nanning metro Line 1 began the test run with passenger. Thanks to the reliable technique, the metro car runs safely in nearly one month.
Mr. LiuJianren introduced that CRRC ZELC has 3 types of mass transit vehicle(A,B,C) with 3 ranges of speed representatively (80/100/120km/h). CRRC ZELC has provided 7500 mass transit vehicles for 16 cities in China and abroad which become an excellent representative in global high-end mass transit equipment domain. The manufacturing of Nanning Metro Line 1 vehicles are based on the rich experience and advanced technology of CRRC ZELC.
According to the design expert of Nanning Metro Line 1 project, the design concept of Nanning metro is safe, reliable, advanced and mature. The core technology of Nanning metro car is developed independently by CRRC ZELC. Moreover, the safety and reliability of car reaches the first level of world.
At the moment, CRRC ZELC Nanning production base has been built and put into production. CRRC ZELC’s advanced manufacturing process and technique has been fully implemented in Nanning base. Mr. Liu Jianren told journalist that Nanning production base of CRRC ZELC has the capacity of manufacturing 150 mass transit vehicles per year. It can also produce metro, electric tram/trolley cars and maglev train with relative service. Nanning production base has significant influence for south-west area and ASEAN area.
