CRRC ZELC Swiftly Organizes Earthquake Relief Assistance

On February 6th, two 7.8-magnitude earthquakes  were occurred in and around the province of Kaheraman Marash in southeastern Turkey.

 Since February 8th local time, CRRC ZELC has organized its after-sales service team to work in "three shifts" to guarantee 24 hours train operation for the Istanbul's new airport line project, is on duty at the control center, carry out vehicle access inspection, and provide technical support for the train, so as to ensure that the caring people and rescue force can smoothly travel from and to the airport, and open up a 24-hour "life channel" for rescue work at frontline.

On February 6, Turkey subsidiary of CRRC ZELC actively responded to the call of the Chinese Embassy in Turkey and the Chamber of Commerce of Chinese Enterprises, and issued an emergency assistance initiative for earthquake relief.

On the one hand, employees rushed to donate, and the money collected that day has been donated to the Turkish charity, Red Crescent Society to buy earthquake relief supplies. On the other hand, our company encourages Turkish employees to donate blood actively so as to relieve the pressure of medical assistance. At present, nine employees have participated in the blood donation.

At present, Our company has launched the earthquake emergency plan, the staff in the Turkey is managed in groups; we have procured emergency supplies and equipment and offered 2 days off for local  employees to prepare for family emergency. At the same time, we pay attention to the relevant policies and notices, maintain the joint prevention and control mechanism communication with the Chamber of Commerce of Chinese enterprises, keep close contact with headquarter in Zhuzhou, report the dynamics and obtain support at any time.
