Xinhuanet, Berlin, Sept. 19th (Reporter Zhu Sheng & Zhang Yirong) CRRC Zhuzhou Locomotive Co., Ltd. released the brand-new shunting locomotive specially customized for German rail service provider Deutsche Bahn (DB) on the “InnoTrans” railway industry trade fair in Berlin, Germany, on Wednesday, September 19th, 2018.
“The newly released shunting locomotive adopts intelligent hybrid power technology, which can recycle and utilize more than 80% of regenerative braking energy, and effectively reduce fuel consumption and exhaust emissions.” Sun Yongcai, CEO of CRRC Corporation Limited, introduced at the technology release conference of DB hybrid shunting locomotive.
It is reported that the locomotive will be delivered directly to Germany Hamburg depot, serving the German market after the fair. In addition, CRRC ZELC also presented a four-axis multi-stream electric locomotive which complies with the standards set by the Technical Specification for Interoperability.
“InnoTrans” railway industry trade fair is held every two years. Exhibition date for thisyear is 18th to 21st, more than 3,000 companies from 61 countries and regions around the world to participate.
