CA25B air conditioned dining car

The CA25B air conditioned dining car is a domestically produced model 25K upgraded dining car developed and manufactured by Tangshan Rolling Stock Plant. On this car, “B” end of car is provided with a power distribution room, a storeroom, and a small corridor; “A” end of car is provided with a storage room, a vestibule, a kitchen, a large corridor, and a pantry; there is a dining saloon in the middle. 209P bogies and model 104 distribution valves are used. There are fixed dining tables and seats in the dining saloon; the kitchen is fully equipped. Centralized power supply is used; air conditioning units are arranged on car roof; an electric heating system is used. It is one of main models of dining car operating on main lines in China.

Intrinsic wood color is dominant tone in the dining car which is complete with seats with light blue cloth covers, the colors being harmonic, matched and uniform. Soft and durable plastic-sprayed steel (aluminum) plates are used on the car roof. Properly arranged side lamps give off lucid and lively light which makes eaters feel doubly warm and comfortable. Screen walls are made of cut glass which is highly transparent and enlarges space visually.

The kitchen of the dining car is equipped with sinks, table tops, and furnace platforms; discharge flues, range hoods, storage cabinets, etc. are arranged overhead. The waterproofed floor meets special requirements for vehicle. Illuminating lamps and ventilators are arranged on top. One end of car is equipped with a boiler and a power distribution room and the other end of car is provided with a half open bar and a storage room to meet requirements for medium and long-distance transport.
