RW25B superclass cushioned berth sleeper

As a new-type superclass cushioned berth sleeper, RW25B is intended for the central leadership of the Party and foreign VIP guests. With structural dimensions in compliance with model 25 cars, it can be used after coupled with model 22 and model 25 passenger cars. The car is provided with single-berth and double-berth compartments with all berths cushioned; compartments are furnished with sofas, desks, etc. Interior finish features our traditional paint process; car roof styling is fine and deluxe. Lighting fittings and metal products in the car are imitation gold plated. It is equipped with air conditioning units which can be powered either by self-contained diesel generator sets or by a train generator car. The car is equipped with a 48V DC power supply system; a coal-burning hot water circulating system and an auxiliary electric heating system are used.

Interior equipment is all made up of fittings and components that are most typical in the factory; table top panels of toilets are made of single-pressed stainless steel; decorative plates are colored stainless steel products; all decorative fittings have been gold (titanium) plated. Two types of closet (pedestal pan and squatting pan) are available for easier use of passengers. Designs of corridors make the car look spacious and admit soft rays; side corridors are provided with handrails which can protect passengers from accident caused by erratic movements of the car when they are walking.

RW25B is a model 25 passenger car independently developed by us. A large quantity of traditional interior finish materials has been used on the car. The more than 100 years old lacquer process embodies cultural details of the Chinese nation. There are main and auxiliary compartments on the car. A main compartment is generally a single compartment (or double compartment); an ordinary compartment is a 4-berth compartment. Deluxe and magnificent, all decorative fittings have been gold (or titanium) plated. The car is an elaborate works among homemade passenger cars.

This car is equipped with 209P bogies. With smooth operation, simple construction, and reliable application, this bogie has been widely used on passenger cars in China. Electric connectors of uniform type of MOR allow reliable connection. Vestibule diaphragms can be designed and manufactured according to customer requirements. Rubber type or vestibule diaphragms can be selected. KCL-40T air conditioners are used.
