The year of 2018, full of pressure and passion, constant pursuit and endeavor is coming to an end. The year of 2019 is coming to us!
Looking back on 2018, we have had an extraordinary year. Under the guidance of Xi Jinping's socialist ideology with Chinese characteristics in the new era, focusing on the grand goal of CRRC to "build a respectable international company, build a gold card of Party construction, and cultivate first-class international company" and taking political inspection as an opportunity, CRRC SRI will give full play to the leading role of Party building, make full efforts to promote all our work, and draw a new blueprint for the future development of CRRC SRI with both hands.
This year, we forge ahead, along the way brilliant.
We are firmly committed to the direction of development, the business performance of CRRC SRI for many years sustained rapid growth and thus the company maintained high-quality and steady development; CRRC SRI has bravely undertaken the important task of "dealing with zombie and difficult enterprises" and fully fulfilled the task objectives, which was praised by SASAC; CRRC SRI successfully completed overseas mergers and acquisitions for the first time by successful acquiring of a Finnish company Beneq, and so set up an innovative R&D center in Europe; our "circle of friends" in the international market continues to expand and thus deepen the strategic cooperation with European OEMs.
CRRC SRI is deeply involved in technology research and development. We develop the intelligent whole life cycle solution; we focus on the rapid development of future-oriented innovative technologies; we launch the demonstration project of intelligent manufacturing; and a joint research center has been jointly established with Tsinghua University to facilitate the intelligent manufacturing and industrial upgrading of rail transit.
CRRC SRI adheres to market orientation. We seize the strong opportunity of "transportation power, railway ranking the priority", and continue to consolidate the national railway market; we keep pace with the rapid development of urbanization, and greatly increase the market share of the urban rail market; we seize the strategic opportunity of "The Belt and Road Initiative" to constant break through the overseas market, and for the first time realize the direct export of electronic system to Europe's high-end market; we aim at the future direction of industrial development, and the emerging industry market share has been gradually increased.
CRRC SRI has strengthened the management capacity. We have integral implemented the enterprise integrated management and control mode and won the first prize of management innovation of CRRC; we have solidly promoted the inspection and rectification work and completed all tasks and objectives in an all-round way; we have deepen the regional synergy and established close strategic partnership with OEMs and customers to provide overall technical solutions oriented to user demands.
Achievement is the best reward for the joint efforts of all the employees of CRRC SRI. It is also inseparable from the support of our leaders at all levels and the joint efforts of partners in the industrial chain. Here, CRRC SRI would like to express its heartfelt thanks to all of you!

With the rapid change of external environment and the increasingly fierce competition of business homogeneity, our internal governance needs to be optimized and improved. Besides, the strategy of "transportation power" provides us with great opportunities for development, the wave of digitization is unstoppable, and the mixed-ownership reform gives us unlimited imagination to release innovative vitality.
Opportunities and challenges coexist, although the road ahead is full of difficulties and obstacles, just like the road to success will never be plain sailing, as long as our hearts are full of hope for development, the future will be full of bright colors.
Facing the important strategic opportunity period of the new round of scientific and technological revolution and industrial revolution, as long as we have firm faith, keep innovating and have the courage to surpass, we will definitely overcome difficulties and forge ahead with the tide!
The pace of spring is approaching.
The 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China has pointed out the direction of development for us; the digital and intelligent innovative technology has brightened the hope for the future; and the development concept of integrating innovation and win-win cooperation has strengthened our confidence in development. We will take the Party building as the lead, stick to the original aspiration of entrepreneurship, deepen cross-professional and cross-system technological integration and innovation, promote the integration of IT application with industrialization to achieve industrial upgrading, build a three-dimensional user-centered market service platform, expand stronger cooperation, achieve a higher level of self-transcendence, and draw a good blueprint for future development.
Only when there is harmony can there be coexistence, and only when there is cooperation can there be win-win results. We will work together with our partners to forge a new future for intelligent transportation.
Starting from here, we are heading for spring. Let us welcome the spring breeze of the new era, take firm steps to start a new journey of struggle, report to the 60th anniversary of the founding of CRRC SRI with greater progress, and present to the 70th anniversary of the motherland with more outstanding achievements!
