Co-organized by the Ministry of Commerce, the government of northeast China's Heilongjiang Province, Ministry of economic development of Russian Federation, Ministry of industry and trade and Sverdlovsk Oblast, the 5th China-Russia Expo was held from July 9 to 12 in Hall 2, International Exhibition Centre in Yekaterinburg City in Russia.
Themed "new starting point, new opportunities, new future", the exhibitors are involved in rail transit, automobile manufacturing, electrical equipment, medicine, food, textile and other industries. CRRC SRI and CRRC-CRC, two primary subsidiaries of CRRC, jointly attended the expo. As the representative of rail transit enterprises, the CRRC high-end atmospheric booth is in the central position of the Expo Hall and became the focus of the entire venue from the very beginning.
SRI’s core products, such as coupler & draft gear, vibration absorption system, passenger information system and TCMS, attracted an endless stream of visitors. Everyone stopped to listen to the presentation of the products and took photos with them.
Chinese and Russian leaders showed great interest in CRRC’s booth during the Expo. The mayor of Qiqihar visited CRRC’s booth and spoke highly of the contribution made by CRRC to China's high-speed railway industry. He praised CRRC as a leading manufacturer of high-end products in China and a shining business card for China to go globally. In addition, the first Vice President of Russian Railway also visited the CRRC’s booth accompanied by the leadership of China Railway Corporation. The Vice President attached great importance to the China-Russia Moscow-Kazan high-speed railway project, and said that Russia Railway will pay a visit to China on the Moscow-Kazan high-speed railway project by the end of this month, and CRRC SRI will be an important stop for this visiting.
The display and demonstration, the docking discussion, as well as the intensive business activities at this Expo all highlighted the highly consistent of the China-Russia development blueprint and the continuing extension and deepen of China-Russia cooperation. Russia is not only a good neighbor and good friend of China, but also an important partner in building " the belt and road" initiative.
The brand popularity and influence of CRRC has been greatly enhanced through this China-Russia Expo, and the core systems for rail transit vehicles of CRRC SRI are also well known to more foreign enterprises. Loving people and treating neighbours kindly are most valuable to a country. CRRC SRI will build a new bridge and inject new impetus into China-Russia comprehensive strategic partnership of coordination.
