In 2017, we left a deep development footprint. This year was the year that the company has the courage to change and consolidate the foundation. The company established a new era goal of " To become a respected and valuable intelligent enterprise", guided by the "13th Five-Year" strategy and in accordance with the annual work theme of "strategy, market and operation", worked together and tried our best to complete the business indicators issued by CRRC, so our operating income broke through 5 billion yuan for the first time. Besides, our company has the honor to be awarded the fifth "National Civilized Unit", and our brake system for urban rail vehicles was awarded the title of Qingdao famous brand etc.. These hard-won achievements have accumulated a lot of hard work, we hereon express our sincere thanks to every employee!

In 2017, the nineteen big victory held and the whole company studies and implemented the nineteen spirit in depth, the company Party committee in accordance with the work deployment of "the year that build strong to enhance the performance", to consolidate the foundation of Party construction, deepen the party construction innovation, strengthen the education of Party members, so as to promote the completion of the company's business objectives. We continue to deepen the mass spiritual civilization, so trade unions and youth league committee were involved in the central tasks and played as the "bridge" role, and fully mobilized the enthusiasm and creativity of the employees to start a business. The company actively carried out the social responsibility and shown the corporate image of responsibility and courage.

In 2017, we strived to expand the market and fully guaranteed the production delivery. The operating performance of the main line railway market has been steadily improved, and we have all year round attached great importance to the CR400 (350km/h) market to ensure the delivery of orders as scheduled. Urban rail market share increased significantly, our traction system, TCMS, brake system and other core systems won many orders; the market share of vibration absorption system and coupler & buffer system maintained the leadingship position; the diversified businesses achieved a new breakthrough in the market, the energy feedback system was promoted on line and won orders, the port machine energy saving system was put into "service" and show good performance, and the bulk material handling system was operated in good condition and won user praise; we have further strengthened the regional business layout capacity and continued to enhance regional influence in Qingdao, Jinan, Tianjin, Chongqing and other cities.

In 2017, we exerted the technical advantage of mechatronics and continued to deepen the technology research and development. The R&D and test platform of TCMS and traction control system for the Chinese standard EMU have been completed; we promoted the R&D of the train automatic control system (TACS) and put the intelligent operation and maintenance system into service; strengthened the development of core technology of brake system, mounted the hydraulic brake system on the maglev train, finished the development of turbine brake system for high speed EMU; enriched the series product development, carried out the R&D of core systems for the standard EMU at the speed of 250km/h, the power centralized EMU at the speed of 160 km/h and the new generation of urban rail trains. Therefore, the user demand-oriented technology innovation system of SRI was improving.

In 2017, we actively promoted enterprise management change and ability improvement, accelerated the implementation of the strategy, reconstructed the organizational structure, and improved the enterprise management and control system guided by the strategy. We carried out the competitive selection of cadres, built the mechanism of two-way flow of talents, thus to inject impetus for the sustainable development of our company; we steadily promoted the reform of salary system, created a professional team of talents, and built a development stage for employee development; we accelerated the intelligent manufacturing and information construction, built in succession the lean production demonstration line, the lean production workshop and other production lines and workshops, so as to lay a solid foundation to strengthen the quality control ability, improve the product quality and production delivery efficiency.

In 2017, we carried out in-depth work on enterprise culture, taken the "to create a respected international company" as the theme, continued to promote the CRRC BI construction activities and actively shape the spirit of the new era SRI staff with temperament, the feeling and the pursuit. In order to achieve a higher level of self-transcendence, we strived for the talents with the development, gathered the strength with culture, and collected the motivation with passion.

In 2018, a series of unmet problems need to be solved, and a series of key tasks that decide the future development of the company are waiting for us to accelerate.
