In 26th March, the assessment meeting of Project of ‘R&D of 270 Piston Ring for Diesel Engine’ was organized by CRRC Changzhou Diesel Engine Parts Co., Ltd. 21 experts from 8 organizations involving CSIC 711 Research Institute, Hudong Heavy Machinery Co., Ltd., Dalian Maritime University and Ningbo Material Institute of China Academy of Sciences were present at the conference.
During the meeting, two projects, ‘Fault Analysis for Cylinder Score of 270 Piston’ and ‘Manufacture Program of 270 Piston’ were reported and thus passed the assessment by analyzing procedures of materials declaration, specialized discussion and accreditation. The evaluated group gave credit for integral materials, substantial data and outstanding plan of the program and therefore proposed for further work.
The pass of evaluation for ‘270 Diesel Engine Piston Project’ which has been accomplished by design, tackling, testing, and reinforcement for 20 years, is a symbol of recognition from customers and experts, thus the project is able to be implemented soon.
