With excellent cost performance, HXD1C is a six-axle, 7200kW, AC transmission main electric locomotive of current Chinese railway. It adopts IGBT modular traction invertor, network control system, integral bearing structure, double cabs, it features the function of triple heading control and display, it can haul freight train of 5000tons to 5500tons in the section where gradient is under 12‰.
The locomotive can be placed in the environment of -40 ℃, and it can be operated in the environment of -25℃～-40℃, if cold-resistant measures are strengthened, it can adapt to windy, rainy, snowy, salt-fog, coal-dust environment.
