Introduction: DF4DF passenger locomotive is different from DF4D passenger locomotive mainly in the coaxial auxiliary generator winding installed on the front end of TQFR-3000E main generator, which is used to supply power to the passenger train and taken as the power supply of air conditioning, heating and lighting devices with the power of 350kW. DLC control is employed for constant power control of locomotive within the full power range and control of auxiliary generator, field weakening, speed of diesel engine, resistance braking, power supply of train and power correction. One set of 50kW auxiliary diesel generating set is mounted on the locomotive. It can be operated independently or operated at the same time as the main diesel. It is mainly taken as the preheating source when the locomotive need not supply power to the air conditioning and heating devices on the train set.
