The signing ceremony of the purchase contract for trains for Bogota Metro Line 1 of Columbia was held at the headquarters of China Harbor Engineering Company (CHEC). Prior to the signing ceremony, CHEC met with CRRC Group and CRRC Changchun respectively to discuss the execution of the project and the further and deeper cooperation between the two parties. During the ceremony, CHEC and CRRC presented gifts for each other, expressing their determination and good wishes for the cooperation between the parties.

Bogota Metro Line 1 has a designed length of 23.96 kilometers and adopts unmanned operation and elevated lines. The total term of the contract is 28 years, with the project covering design, construction, material supply, and operation. As the leader of the consortium, China Harbor Engineering Co., Ltd. has established Bogota Metro Project Company in Bogota of Columbia, and CRRC Changchun will supply 30 unmanned trains of the GOA4 level for the Bogota Metro Line 1 project as an exclusive supplier. With this new overseas business development, the company will have exported close to 1200 trains accumulatively to South America, and again achieve the target of “going global” in both train supply and maintenance service.
