Recently, on the collision test bench of rail car, CRRC Qingdao Sifang Co., Ltd. has successfully completed the full-scale car-level collision test for 76km/h high-speed train, which is the car-level collision test at the highest speed in the world.

In this test, the head car of an DMU hits the head car of another DMU parked on the track at a speed of 76km/h to complete the collision of the two vehicles. This kind of real vehicle collision is a car-level collision, with the verification level higher than the European EN15227 collision standard requirement, which is closer to the actual operating conditions of the vehicle. At the same time, the collision speed of 76km/h is also the highest speed in the world for the real vehicle collision test for high-speed trains. At this impact speed, the deformation of the energy absorption structure of the two vehicles is controllable and orderly, and the space of the passengers is kept intact, with no creeping phenomenon, showing that the vehicle has excellent anti-collision performance.

The railway vehicle collision test bench of CRRC Qingdao Sifang was built in 2017. It is a test bench with the fastest collision that realizes the full coverage of components and vehicles in the domestic rail transit industry at present and has the ability to verify the collision test of energy absorption components of rail cars and vehicles. In 2018, the test bench passed two (2) important international collision standards including EN15227 and ASME RT-2 of CNAS (China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment ).
