"FUXING Bullet Train" Welcomed Prime Ministers as "Drivers"

President Xi Jinping jointly visited the pavilions with the foreign leaders attending the first China International Import Expo in Shanghai on November 5th.

President Xi and leaders of various countries came to the China’s pavilion, which features many designs indicating that China will not close its doors to the world and will become increasingly open. Chinese and foreign leaders watched a video showing China's development. In the Innovative Development Unit, the Prime Ministers of Laos and Vietnam manipulated the Experience Cabin Simulator of Fuxing Bullet train to experience the visual and auditory impact of the high-speed train flying at 350 km/h. Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev repeatedly praised "it’s too fast."

 

The leaders of the countries thanked China for its strong support for the participation of the countries as a host, praised China's development achievements, and wished the first China International Import Expo a complete success.

The National Trade and Investment Comprehensive Exhibition is an important part of the first China International Import Expo. A total of 71 booths are set up in 82 countries and 3 international organizations, with an exhibition area of about 30,000 square meters. Twelve countries including Indonesia, Vietnam, Pakistan, South Africa, Egypt, Russia, Britain, Hungary, Germany, Canada, Brazil and Mexico are the host countries.
