CRRC shipped railway freight cars to New Zealand

Recently, the IK-type container flat cars made by CRRC for KiwiRail of New Zealand were shipped from Dalian Port. 110 flat cars were heading for the hometown of kiwi.

The IK-type container flat cars developed by CRRC for New Zealand meet the requirements of New Zealand’s narrow gauge railway, and are mainly used for the transportation of 10-, 20- and 40-foot containers. The flat cars feature multiple loading conditions, low bearing surface, light weight, easy maintenance and low wear, and its specifications meet advanced international standards. Meanwhile, IK-type container flat cars can further improve technical economy, and reduce the costs of use, overhaul and maintenance during the life cycle, effectively satisfying the upgrading needs of the railway freight cars of New Zealand.
