On July 20, the first train for Luoyang Metro Line 1 rolled off the line at Luoyang CRRC Rail Transit Equipment Co., Ltd., achieving the milestone of “Luoyang subway made in Luoyang”, and marking the entrance of the “thousand-year old ancient capital” into the subway era.
Luoyang Metro Line 1 adopts B-type vehicles of 6-car sets with a speed of 80km/h. The number of passenger is 1460, and the maximum capacity is 2062. The train has the following characteristics: high automation level, safety and reliability, energy conservation and consumption reduction, and noise reduction and shock absorption. The train’s appearance features some Luoyang elements. Blooming peonies and fluttering ribbons demonstrate both the city’s cultural deposits and the inheritance of the spirit of the Silk Road. Glass screen is adopted for the baffle at both ends of seats in the carriage, on which peony line drawings are painted, delicate and simple, exquisite and transparent, and walking in the carriage is like walking in a peony garden. Luoyang Metro Line 1 is about 22 kilometers long, running through the 4 major urban districts. It is not only convenient for people to travel. More importantly, it is conducive to elevating the city’s image and enhancing the city’s competitiveness, and will play a positive role of promotion in Luoyang’s accelerated construction of a sub-center and the Luoyang metropolitan area.
