On September 11, in Budapest, Hungary, CRRC ZELC signed a "Locomotive" order with the Hungarian Railway Freight Company. It marks that the "Locomotive" made in China will serve the Central and Eastern Europe such as Hungary with excellent quality.
László·Mosóczi, Hungarian State Secretary, expressed the strong support of the development of environmental protection technology from Hungarian government. He believed that the product technology of CRRC ZELC is leading and environmental, which exactly meets our demands. Hope that there will be more cooperation opportunities in the future between the parties.

The "Locomotive" signed this time has two kinds of trains - mainline electric locomotive and shunting locomotive. The mainline electric locomotive has the function of "super last mile" which uses its own auxiliary power for short-term traction in a grid-free area. It can be used as a shunting locomotive in non-electrified railways, such as stations, ports, and freight yards, and can reduce the configuration of small internal combustion shunting locomotives and the participation of additional personnel, improving the economic performance of rail transit. In addition, the environmentally friendly lithium battery is applied into auxiliary power package of the locomotive, to avoid fuel locomotive noise and air pollution.
