On the morning of February 3, local time, ETS bullet train EG9022 had two friendly new passengers, Malaysian Prime Minister Najib and his wife Rosmah. Accompanied by Malaysian Minister of Communications Liow Tiong Lai, Najib and his wife boarded the ETS bullet train at Kuala Lumpur Central Station.

At 7:55am, EG9022 started. Najib and his entourage inspected the bullet train's interior decoration and passenger information system with great interest and exchanged views with the passengers around him.

Najib walked into the driver's cab to inspect the operation status and talked cordially with the driver. He nodded his appreciation when he learned that the bullet train was running smoothly and the systems were working properly.

After a one-and-a-half-hour smooth operation, EG9022 smoothly arrived at the destination of this trip, Tanjung Malim.

Shortly after the trip, Najib expressed his praise for the ETS bullet train developed by CRRC Zhuzhou Locomotive Co., Ltd on social media outlet Twitter, saying, “ETS is very comfortable. We need more ETS bullet trains to provide passengers with more comfortable services.”
