Bearing resemblance to a large bowl, the building is affectionately known as the “Super Bowl” among the employees. Seen from above, the building looks like a beautiful eye, so it is also regarded as the “Smart Eye”. The building is the first modern professional venue of the railway equipment enterprises in China—the Technology & Culture Exhibition Center of CRRC Zhuzhou Locomotive Co., Ltd.
On December 26, the Technology & Culture Exhibition Center of CRRC Zhuzhou Locomotive Co., Ltd. was officially opened.
The height of the building “Super Bowl” is 16.45 m. The main framework of the bowl-shaped building is made from the special-shaped steel structure and supports without pillars. 1100 tons of steel were used in the construction of the building.
The special-shaped steel tubes, the truss beams and the supports are cross-linked to form a bowl-shaped oval space with the beauty of modern industry.
The 3-storied “Super Bowl” has 29 major exhibition items, 1400 m2 of decorated exhibition area and around 100 exhibits, sand table models and scene representations, which can be divided into 3 chapters - “Develop with the World”, “Develop with Our Dreams” and “Develop with the Future”. The building could offer a 3D presentation of the company’s noble demeanor, profound cultural deposits and strong strength in science and technology, as well as the corporate image “Responsibility & Forerunner” of the company. The completion of the building embodies the top-level design through higher vision, the more powerful industrial innovation and the deeper cultural consideration of CRRC Zhuzhou.
