Recently, the first train developed by CRRC Tangshan for Fuzhou Metro Line 6 was successfully delivered to the user. This is the third time that CRRC Tangshan has served the city with its rail transit products after delivering trains that have been put into operation for Fuzhou Metro Line 1 and Fuzhou Metro Line 2. The delivery lays a solid foundation for the official operation start of Metro Line 6.
The train for Fuzhou Metro Line 6 is a Type B aluminum alloy vehicle, with a maximum passenger capacity of 1358. According to the project contract, CRRC Tangshan will develop 22 trains for Metro Line 6.
As the first metro line in Fuzhou to go in the direction of the sea, CRRC Tangshan fully demonstrates the green and ocean culture in the design of the trains, highlighting that the city prospering and thriving thanks to the sea. The base color tone of the trains’ interior decoration corresponds with their appearance, both using white as the base color, with a roof of “blue sky and white clouds”, featuring a novel and modern design. The trains of Fuzhou Metro Line 6 not only look nice, their operation speed can be as high as 100km/h, catering for the characteristics of fast pace and long traveling routes of cities, and saving passengers’ traveling time.
