Mr. Li Guoan, born in 1952, Chinese citizen with no right of abode in any foreign country; holding a university degree; Research Fellow, Independent Non-executive Director of the Company, concurrently External Director of China Baowu Steel Group. Mr. Li was Deputy Party Secretary, and Deputy Party Secretary/Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission of Wuhan Ship Development and Design Institute under the Seventh Research Institute of China Shipbuilding Industry Corporation; Assistant Director/Head of Science and Technology Department, Deputy Director, member of the party leadership group, and deputy secretary of the party leadership group of the Seventh Research Institute of China Shipbuilding Industry Corporation; Vice General Manager, member of the party leadership group of China Shipbuilding Industry Corporation; and External Director of Wuhan Iron and Steel (Group) Corporation. Mr. Li served as Independent Non-executive Director of CSR from June 2014 to May 2015, and has been Independent Non-executive Director of the Company since May 2015.
