China-Belarus No.1 freight electric locomotive is a home-grown high power AC traction freight electric locomotive with eight axles, wide gauge, high & cold prevention function to adapt to change of Belarus railway locomotive. The kind of locomotive relies on technology forum of heavy-haul freight locomotive in Datong Electric Locomotive Corp., meets GOST national standard applied in Russian and Belarus, and can be used as traction freight locomotives in the main railway lines such as Russian national railway lines and the cross-border railway lines to Russian, Ukraine and other Commonwealth of the Independent States.

Main technical features

1. It gets GOST standard certification and can do cross-border freight transportation in the Commonwealth of Independent States.

2. It has the advantages of high cold toleration and even can run under -40~+40℃ temperature.

3. Traction electric driver system adopts axle control mode, 2 sets of auxiliary converter are redundancy of each other, and microcomputer system meets TCN standard.

4. Braking system adopts ESRA electric pneumatic breaking that meets GOST standard, and it also possesses the blend braking function of pneumatic electric.

5. It is equipped with bearing failure diagnosis device and automatic fire extinguisher making it safe.

6. It adopts signal, wireless radio, and safety monitoring system of Russian to fully satisfy customer’s demand.
