SS7d Passenger Electric Locomotive

Introduction

SS_7D electric locomotive is AC-DC 4800kW passenger locomotive with the max. speed of 170km/h which is based on the successful experience of SS7 series locomotive developed for domestic railway passenger transportation acceleration. The design of the locomotive adheres to simple and unified standard, standardization and seriation for advanced design, operation safety and reliability.

 Main technical characteristics：

1. The head of locomotive is a new design. The internal structure of cab adopts ergonomic principles. New internal is equipped with advanced operation control equipment promoting the whole aesthetics and comfort.

2. Light weight design is made for carbody, bogie and transformer of the main parts. The locomotive adopts independent ventilation system.

3． The main circuit adopts unequal third section bridge phase control and compound circuit, stepless speed regulating and stepless field weakening.

4． Adopt constant current starting and quasi constant speed, micro-computer control and LCU logical control unit.

5.  The locomotive adopts bogie single side braking, motor frame bearing full suspension and wheel set hollow shaft six linkage transmission.

6． Power supply is provided for train heating and air-conditioning with double-pipe air supply.
