Introduction
SS7C modified electric locomotive is based on SS7c electric locomotive, series circuit of main circuit traction motor is changed from full controlled plus half controlled second section bridge into full controlled plus half control third section bridge; regenerative braking is changed into resistance braking; the modified locomotive is AC-DC driven 4800kW six-axle passenger and freight electric locomotive with the high speed of 120km/h after the controlled circuit is changed from electric control into computer control.
Main technical characteristics:
1.Light weight design is made for carbody, bogie and transformer of the main parts.
2. Axle arrangement of locomotive bogie is Bo-Bo-Bo, with singe braking, nose hang of motor rolling suspension bearing and lower inclined traction rod.
3. The main circuit adopts unequal third section bridge plus Supplement rheostat braking, stepless speed regulating and stepless field weakening.
4. Adopt constant current starting and quasi constant speed, micro-computer control and LCU logical control unit.
5. Electric braking is resistance braking.
6. Power supply is provided for train heating and air-conditioning with double-pipe air supply.
