Introduction of the product:
SS3B fixed multi-locomotive is a kind of 12-axle freight electric locomotive. It is made up of two identical 6-axle locomotives connected by couples and vestibule diaphragm. There are HV connectors, control cables and network shielded wires used for the electric system and control air pipes used for the air system between the two locomotives. The whole locomotive could be controlled synchronously at any driver’s cab. The locomotive takes single-phase power frequency, voltage 25kV, AC-DC transmission, and the highest running speed of the locomotive is 100km/h.
Main technical features:
1. The continuous power of the locomotive is 9600kW. Two locomotives are connected together with 2 (Co-Co) bogies equipped. The rheostatic braking power at the wheel rim is 8000kW.
2. The thyristor of unequal three-section half control bridge rectifier is adopted to adjust voltage. The front and back bogies are powered separately.
3. Supplement rheostatic braking is adopted to increase the range of the maximum constant traction force at the low-speed zone.
4. The network technology is used to increase the technical content of the control system, enhancing the reliability of the locomotive and decreasing its fault rate.
5. The anti-slip and anti-sliding protection devices and the technology, such as electric axle load compensation, are used to improve the adhesion usage rate of the locomotive, that is, the running performance of the locomotive is enhanced.
6. The control methods characterized by constant current and quasi constant speed are applied to give a full play of the startup traction force, being convenient to driver’s operation.
