On 9th March, Global Connection, a famous program of CCTV financial channel, played a special report on CRRC Goes Abroad that gave a deep coverage of CRRC locomotives abroad, among which emphasis was given specially to БКГ locomotives manufactured and exported by CRRC Datong, unfolding wonderfully the value of Chinese brand overseas.
Under the coordination and support of the Culture Promotion Department, technical departments, International Trade Department and Customer Service Center, reporters from CCTV went to the locomotive depot in Belarus and interviewed service staff resident in the Belarusian depot, officers of Belarusian railway corporate as well as drivers. From the perspectives of significance of the БКГ projects, cutting edge technology of the products and quality service provided by the CRRC Datong, the program took an in-depth look at the excellent quality of the exported products, presenting fully the technical strength of CRRC Datong in the field of high power electric locomotive and giving a powerful interpretation to their firm confidence and advancing stride in the oversea market. It was played during the NPC and CPPCC sessions. The topic about the Chinese brands overseas represented by the БКГ locomotives became a massive hit in the society. The program was replayed and republished by many national media and trade press.
The БКГ locomotives have by now been covered in high density by the national, provincial and local media as well as new media. At the same time, it was the second time for CRRC Datong making its appearance in CCTV after the debut when its HX2F electric locomotive had been reported due to the heavy-haul test, improving successfully its market value and image.
