12V280 type engine is a new generation high power diesel engine with high technology, developed through cooperation with Southwest Research Institute, USA. The main purpose for developing such an engine is to meet the need in marine market, power station, railway and other fields. The design target is 4410kW (rated power)and 1000r/min (rated speed).
