HXD3G AC DRIVE EXPRESS PASSENGER ELECTRIC LOCOMOTIVE
The construction speed of HXD3G locomotive is 210km/h and axle load is 19.5t, which can meet the application requirement of speed of 160/200km. Single axle power is 1400kW with short-time loading capability (Axle power is 1600kW).
Converter system has a high degree of integration, integrated main and auxiliary converters, auxiliary filter and head end power supply device. It has uninterruptible power supply for auxiliary apparatus and head end power supply device when passing neutral section. It uses fully decoupled and lightweight traction transformer, which is kind of core-type and vertical structure with A-class insulation and common mineral oil. It adopts electropneumatic braking system with microcomputer network control.
Carbody and cubicles are made of high strength structural steel and aluminum alloy. Cab hood is adhered to the cab structure. Two locomotives are connected with drawbar coupler and gangway bellow to reduce locomotive impact. Low-order push-pull drawbar is used as the traction device. Two lightweight bogies of Bo-Bo structure are adopted, with motors being opposite arranged and full suspended. Cast aluminum gearbox, wheel disk brake and hollow axle wheelset assembly are adopted. Blower adopts aluminium housing and reinforced blade, which uses greasing and maintainable bearing with features of light weight, high efficiency, good performance, low noise, easy maintenance, etc.
The successful development of this locomotive is an important mark of modernization of China railway equipment locomotive technology, and meets the demand for passenger transportation at 200km/h.
