On February 1, the 11th Chinese Patent Award was unveiled in Beijing. 15 gold prizes and 170 outstanding prizes found their owners. One invention paten from CYR “One Kind of Low Track Force Wagon Bogie” wins the outstanding prize of China Patent.
China Patent Award is the only government patent award for rewarding the invention and creation with grant of a patent, also is the highest award bestowed by the Chinese government in the field of patents, and has been approved by World Intellectual Property Office (WIPO).
The invention patent of “One Kind of Low Track Force Wagon Bogie” improves technical level of Chinese wagon bogie, breaks technical of high performance wagon bogie monopolized by foreign countries, greatly enhance competitive power of Chinese railway wagon on international market and lays the groundwork for developing and researching the wagon bogie with higher performance by China in the further.
This patent has been mainly applied to exported wagon bogie. The domestic Bathtub coal gondola car with 25t axle load equipped with this kind of bogie is operating on Daqin line, which has many advantages such as good dynamic performance, high reliability and simple maintenance. This kind of bogie has been exported to Australia, Africa etc. With high requirements to the dynamic performance and reliability of wagon bogie proposed by foreign customers, this kind of bogie has broad prospects to exported market which has became important profit growth point of CYR.
